Rotorua, NZ’s Coolest Hot Spot

The stunning city of Rotorua is a major tourist spot for those travelling to New Zealand. Especially famous for it’s numerous geothermal spectacles it’s natural beauty also draws crowds with sparkling lakes and towering forests. It is also a pivotal centre for the Maori culture with a number of villages and other significant sites.

The city itself is located towards the top of central North Island, an hour or less from other popular holiday destination cities such as Whakatane and Taupo. From Auckland, the power hub of the North Island, it’s no more than 3 hours drive through the stunning countryside to Rotorua.

There is plenty of parking around the outside of the village green but, pending council permission, we will also try to open up the green itself. Entry from Whakaue St.
